August Armstrong is a lighting designer and technician working across film, theater, and dance. They hold a B.A. in Film and Media Studies and a Minor in Theatre Production and Design from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Their work explores the relationship between light, sound, and storytelling, with a focus on creating striking visual environments that support and enhance a production’s creative vision. August enjoys collaborative environments and approaches each project with curiosity, experimentation, and a willingness to find new possibilities with light.
